چکیده

Sucralose (SCL) is one of the most widely used edulcorants in world, including bychildren and adolescents, but its effects on metabolic programming are not sufficient andconclusive. In this study we evaluated whether ingestion SCL or sucrose (SUC) by youngrats interferes with parameters adult rat. We 21-day-old male wistarrats, which received pure water (control) added SUC SCL, until 60 days age. When they reached 90 age, half animals were fed a high fat diet (HFD). Theanimals euthanized at 120 age. When only standard diet, intake inthe young phase caused significant (p<0,05; ANOVA) increase body weight (11%),adiposity (48%), insulinemia (53%) insulin resistance (56%) reduced lipolyticresponse to adrenergic stimulation animal. HFD bothsweeteners causing increases adiposity (SUC=32%;SCL=36%) liver (SUC=34%; SCL=41%), increased (75%) SLC group. conclude that adding during youth may increasethe risks obesity, hepatic steatosis adulthood accentuate themetabolic disturbances diets.
